I still don't understand the difference between walk-on and preferred walk-on.

Some walk-ons just show up and essentially try out to walk-on. Other's like this kid are basically guaranteed a spot beforehand as a walk-on.

Simon knows all about WSU basketball. His mother grew up in Wichita and he has several relatives who live in Wichita. His grandparents are Shocker fans Sam and Jacque Kouri.
