I have been hoping for Zapala for a long time.

This one is much more of a stretch .. not sure I'm feeling it, but might be the only option. With him being a 1 year options, I'd rather roll the dice on a possible multiple year player that could soften the blow after next year. That might not be available though.

Yeah this is going to be a heeeaaavy senior stacked class. But if we show momentum, and with the way the portal is, then the following year could be massive with who we could bring in.

Yup mentioned that in another thread. Momentum, a better finish and growth in NIL might let Mills survive that rebuild in year 3

This is my concern as well, but it is what it is and with all the portal facts of life, I might as well get used to it.

With this guy, we’re looking at 7 (assuming no one elae transfers), new players the following year. Reload.

Unfortunately we’re in an era now where it’s gonna be who can assemble the best fitting talent (note, not necessarily the BEST talent) each year. This could very well be the norm.

This is the NCAA world we live in. Nothing to do but try to survive each day.

Glad I am not a coach trying to deal with it.

When we consider the stats of SZ on per minutes played, it at least would raise our eyebrows. If signed, both he and QB with our excellent "post player coaching" by Coach Q. Acy seems promising for probabile improvement.

If you told me we were going to trade him for KP I think I'd take that trade. Some good hustle plays and post moves.

Good hustle for sure .. not sure how much the post moves and back downs will work against AAC size though. Seems fairly coordinated for his size though.

Also ..man do they not call fouls in that league lol .. that was a lot of contact all over with nothing called

The amount of fouling going on in this video is comical

He shows some toughness if he can score against this type of play.

Just saw Szymon at the airport. He said he had a great visit and had a big ole smile when I recognized him and told him we could really use some help at the five. Very nice kid.

Hoping that the Shockers sign him. Looking at his stats and highlights, he appears to be a keeper that will fit right into our rotation of players nicely. Thank you Regul8te for this needed report.

Did you slip him a little NIL funds?
