Did a former Virginia Tech basketball guard drop where his next destination might be? (fightinggobbler.com)

I don't know, but history says shocks02 generally does not post about a player unless there is smoke...

I'm not doing this for fun... okay maybe a little.

But yes, there is a connection. There will be a lot of connections. Until we have better rumors, this is the best I can do.

Would it be possible to list the connections with the players?

Mostly Twitter sleuthing. The list of players with confirmed interest from this coaching staff will likely be rather small. I'll try to post sources when we have them.

Thanks. Even if it’s just follow backs, it would be interesting to see how much smoke there is with a player.

Until players either commit to WSU or somewhere else, you're never likely to have anything better than rumor control to judge the level of interest.

Official visits are the only reliable measure. If there's no visit, that doesn't mean it was a swing and a miss. Perhaps some vetting of the player caused interest in a highly talented player to wane. There will definitely be swings and misses. That's part of the recruiting game.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

You are right. The coaches don't come on message boards to post their visits very often...
