  • Jeff Nwankwo 6'6 F JUCO

    Profile from Cowley: https://cowleytigers.com/sports/mbkb...nkwo_jeff_w7p2

I believe he would have two years left to play. Originally started on Tulane's football team, but I think the only years that "count" towards eligibility are his two at Cowley.

    Nwankwo is from Lawrence.

He is very good. Actually comes fully assembled which would be a plus for our program. Better get him signed early.

Maybe DR who played there, and still loved by many, could put in a good word for us? As in the old days, anybody we bring in should be able to compete for a starting position. Next thing you know, we could go 10 deep and never skip a beat.

Awesome. I'm hoping we are recruiting excellent Juco players hard. Such tactics got UAB to the Dance and they got more on the way.

                    What a strange shooting line.

                      2-8 free-throws… they’re freakin’ free!

Maybe he just had a bad day. He couldn’t finish anything around the basket that was contested. Strong body, but he didn’t show a great deal of athleticism. His shot was flat for the most part, but the 3’s that he made looked good out of his hand. Average ball handler. This is the only time that I have seen him.
Liked Amar Augillard from Triton better.

He shot 73% from the free throw line for the year, so he isn't a 25% free throw shooter (one game). National Tournament isn't a good place to have a bad day though.
