Grayson is from Jacksonville, Florida. His recruitment has taken off after a 40 point performance at Big Shots. ESPN says we have interest. A tweet says we have offered. Other.offers according to ESPN are North Florida, Virginia Tech, Georgia andSouth Florida. According to the tweet add Cincy, C of C and Florida State.

Rivals now showing the offer by the Shockers. In this Scout interview, Allen mentions the offer by Wichita State and adds that he's had 20 to 25 new phone calls since his 40 point performance.

I tweeted that to him today and he retweeted it about a minute later, so that's definitely a positive.

ESPN now has him as the 36th best player of the 2014 class, 8th best SG, and 2nd best player in Florida.

It's not illegal in terms of a violation of the law, but it's definitely in a gray area when it comes to recruiting violations, which could get the school in trouble with the NCAA:

It’s hard to imagine that college sports fans can go from die hard supporters to boosters in 140 characters but in the Twitter age it has become a real issue. Many fans and athletes remain unaware that when a fan contacts a recruit via Twitter and encourages them to attend the institution they support, they are committing an NCAA violation.
Herein lies the beauty and the dangers of recruiting high school prospects in the social media age. On one hand fans have unprecedented access to athletes including those who are still deciding which college to attend. On the other hand institutions have to remain vigilant in monitoring their recruits on social media sites. The NCAA’s rules on social media remain vague and still a little behind the times.

I know many do it, but at some point, it's going to get someone in trouble. I've retweeted things by recruits but would never send anything to them. It's not worth the risk.

And just because someone else is doing it, doesn't make it right or OK to do.

But mentioning not to forget Wichita State is in a way saying to come to Wichita State. We're more likely to be the first to get in trouble with Twitter than Kentucky.
