That's what I am thinking. He can keep recruiting for 2024 but at this point can only make offers contingent on additional scholarships opening up which mostly likely won't be until after the end of this season, if at all.. Would be surprising not to have 2 or 3 guys decide to move on.

The pig in the python is with next years 6-player senior class (assuming they all hang around) of Pohto, Rogers, Bell, Beverly, Cortes and Ballard moving on.

Pipkin looks like a good option to step in for Cortes in 25-26. But clearly there is work ahead to replenish our front court. Having Ronnie DeGray sit out this year may not be all that bad of a thing. Otherwise, he would be in the large group of 24-25 seniors as well. We really need Isaac Abidde to breakout.

Perhaps this is just what we have to get used to in this day and age.

      9- Landry Shamet (2015)
      10 - Darral Willis (2016) - JUCO

Don’t know why I thought that FVV was lower, and Shamet was higher. That surprised me. Also surprised about Grant Sherfield.

Shamet was much higher on Rivals and McDuffie was lower.

Taylor Eldridge reported that he was as high as 60-something in his class at one time.

Two things: Zion likes to guard the best player on the other team. With TJ and Zion, we are a top 50 school in recruiting again. It's been a while.

Fantastic pick up for Mills and crew. Thanks to Cooz for the assist.

Will he plummet out of the rankings now the he has committed to WSU?

Don't know, but the NIL poachers will be attacking him relentlessly now.

I know in this day and age you have to continue recruiting so I would assume that Miles at Sun Rise will still be a target But the signing of these two guards is a very nice start/sign for this coaching staff. Well done. Go Shocks

So far on our 2 new recruits TJ and Zion, my thoughts are that they are both steals.

It sure seems a lot like when FHCGM took over, first year may be a period of transition and a bit rough, but future reinforcements are on the way. TJ and Pipkin commits (and timing) are very similar to when Randy and PJ were signed. Its almost like the same game plan from 2008 is being used agin in 2023.

Speaking of first year, this team is going to be better than most think. There is more talent on hand than when GM took over and the attitude of the guys on board is very forward and positive.
Regarding the Ricks departure, if you aren't fully on board with HCPM, no sense hanging around. HCPM runs his program a lot like GM, everybody is either in, or you are out.

Our trip to Carolina is just around the corner. Can not wait to watch the difference in this team and how it is coached vs the predecessor.

                        That is all.
Above all, make the right call.

Just trying to understand your first paragraph; Randy and PJ weren’t signed by GM nor were they signed in 07 or 08. Help me out??

                                Ashockalypse,
                                Good catch.
I meant Kyles and Murry instead of the aforementioned Randy and PJ.
                                You get the gist though.
