Run-off waivers are no longer accepted in eligibility waiver cases by the NCAA. TBD if that actually means anything, but in theory it takes away a lot of free transfers (after the first).

I believe so as 2021 was a freebie so he was technically only a sophomore last year.

Was a 3 star recruit out of HS and ranked #389 nationally. Played one season at UMass and the last two at Mizzou. Averaged 8.7 / 4.6 / 1.4 his first season at UMass while shooting 37% from three. Averaged 8.3 / 4.6 / 1.0 his first season at Mizzou before seeing his minutes fall last season to 9.8 per game from 25.3 the year before. Was a Cuonzo Martin holdover. Two years of eligibility.

Maybe it's because he had a signifcant drop off in minutes last year? I don't know that was a reason, but a Mizzou fan mentioned that in the twitter feed announcing his commitment. Mizzou fans seem to love the guy and wish him well.
