Average of 120 FTA over 2 years means 120 per year, so roughly 240 FTA in roughly 60 games across 2 years.

Not the way I read it. 120 over two years means a total of 120 over the two year period, which is not the same as avg FTAs over 2 years. Most fouls are awarded either 1&1s or 2 shots. I couldn't find and stat on fouls drawn.
I guess we may find out. Either way I like this kid.

Not exactly sure why you are trying to argue this. The stats are the stats. 120 Average FTA over two years means 240 FTs. To be exact, in two years he's taken 244 FTs over 59 games played which is 4.135593220 FTA per game lol. That average would have put him just behind Rojas as the 2nd leading FTA on our team this year.

You two are saying two totally different things. One is saying he averaged 120 FTA over two years, while the other says he shot 120 FTA over 2 years. Only if you show the statistic does everyone know which is correct.

Was a list of 20 or so teams shortly after entering including Texas. I’m sure there is dozens more by now. Needle in a haystack.

I am sure the list has grown.

Actually the conversation was about his ability to draw fouls. Free throws are an indicator but not an exact relation. Stick is more of a bean counter stat dude while I prefer using my eyeballs and putting some value to stats. But I have not argued with stick, just trying to clarify his 120 free throws over 2 years.
The most free throws over a college career is about 900+. Does that mean they shot 900+ free throws a year? No.

It doesn't really matter. My original statement was that his highlights did not display his ability to draw fouls, which is a big plus for a point guard in today's game. Not saying he can't draw fouls, but it's not on the videos.

FTA is a very good indicator of a players ability to draw fouls .. .especially while driving. Stats are much more reliable than ole eyeballs. He seems to be slightly above average at drawing fouls. No where near elite (for instance Kendric Davis had over 200 FTA this year).

                      For reference:
                      RC4 in 2022 took 106 FTA
Etienne in 21 took 111 FTA

The last guard we had that took 120+ FTA was Fred and Ron in 2016 (120 for Fred and 135 for Ron)

This is the weirdest defense of a position I’ve ever heard: “you said X and I thought you said Y and Y is wrong.”

So do we have any confirmation from any “official” source that Elijah was in town this weekend for an on campus visit?

You are right. I originally misread his original post. I missed the "avg". But seriously, I wasn't arguing, just clarifying. Stick doesn't seem like a bad dude, he just puts about 90% of his analysis of a player based on stats. Where I do 90% based on my vision. So we just disagree in that regard. Funny thing is I believe we both like this kid, so that should say a lot about him as a player.

I honestly do not know who has visited the last two weekends and there is very little information that appears to leak.

I'm getting the feeling that when PM invites someone for an official visit, he might ask them to not tell reporters about the visit.

If Hawkins was seen at Station 8 with his Dad, but not with WSU coaches, maybe PM gave them an all expenses paid BBQ meal, but maintained privacy of the visit.
