And we will continue to discuss NIL from a position of relative ignorance until someone in the know is willing to give specifics. Yeah, we hear about so-and-so getting offered $400k and car, but those aren't relevant to WSU until there's reliable info otherwise.

Why would the great majority be expected to have a clue? It's not exactly a transparent process. About the only thing I am aware of that has been stated publicly, and I assume the majority are in the same boat, was that Armchair Strategies had a "war" chest of $500,000 and even that pronouncement was extremely shy on details. There might be 5 posters here, and that may be generous, that have access to inside information. So I think most of the comments are coming from that perspective. What kind of deals might be flowing through Opendorse and direct deals between a business and a players is pretty much unknowable without inside information as far as I can tell. At least at this point in time. If you have access to information that the rest of don't, or others do and they choose to keep it under the radar, that's fine and dandy. I assume that will come out eventually although I don't know that there are any requirements to make those deals public.
