To start, I don't care for these kind of comments without giving support to it for those of us less knowledgable about the player. Particularly, from a first time poster.

That said, what little I could find indicated Clark is probably not even one of the top 3 players on Highland Park which is lead by 2 sophmores. So the comment by @style88: may very well hold merit.

That said, it may be a case of letters meant to be"staying in touch" being taken as "we're gonna offer"
