Fridge Holman was a crazy playgound player. It doesn't necessarly translate to D1.

Who cares? Honestly, I'd rather have what we have.

I'd rather not have any 5'8" players, maybe that's just me.

Please explain how Fridge didn't translate to D1 basketball. I think he average 10 points and around 6 assists his one full season.

A couple of full seasons would have allowed him to become a better player.

Sincerely, A Fridge apologist since the day he returned from injury to help lead WSU to victory against the ranked BlueJays in the cow palace.

Fridge was ok. Marshall would never put him on the floor, tho.

Only one person here cares what kiwi would think.

logged in for the first time in months to comment (I'm more of a Stalker/Lurker these days...)

Looks like he has insane handles, and quick speed.

Weren't we on a short quick PG a few years back (Young IIRC)? Not comparing this kid to him, but I could see him doing good things with his quickness if he can play D.

Admittedly, I haven't watched much footage of him but I wouldn't mind having someone who could keep interior defenses honest (something we've lacked a bit recently)...would really facilitate our outside game.

Also, as far as the flashiness/showboating go, I see a kid who works hard. He needs to have his energy channeled in the right direction.

I can't dismiss a player based off his on-court attitude. We've had several players recently who were very talented, but underachieving. The most obvious off the top of my head are JT and Stutz. Look at what they did when they matured under Coach Marshall's tutelage.

                              Just food for thought.
