  • Robert Whaley - 6'5" SF Class of 2023 Offered

    Shockers have offered this 6'5" SF out of College of Southern Idaho and originally from Farmington, UT. Other offers include Missouri State, UTEP, Tarleton State, Milwaukee, Coastal Carolina, UIC, Cleveland State, Manhattan, Samford, Western Michigan, Morgan State, Kent State, Utah Valley, North Carolina A&T, Radford, and Loyola Marymount. His Dad (also Robert) played 23 games in the NBA for the Utah Jazz. Currently rated as the 42nd best JUCO prospect in the country.

    Averaged 10.9 points per game last season at CSI on 63% from the field. Only attempted 2 threes and made 1. Also averaged 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists. Played 18 minutes per game. Big dude weighing in at around 260!

                    I wouldn’t describe Evan as someone that could “stroke it.” He was a career 30% three point shooter, and as an upperclassman, when he took 3/4 of his threes, he was 33%.

                    Oh, and career 37% from the field and 46% from the line. Yikes!

                      He stroked it against KU which is what people seem to remember.

                            Evan also came up with EVERY loose ball, was always in the right position, and did all the little things right. It would be nice to have another guy like that, no matter how tall he is.

                              That too. Every loose ball in EVERY game. But played even better in the big game.

                              I had to come around on him, but I did. Before Chris Webber did even...
