PJ was 6’2. Gus is 6’6 and 230. Otherwise, maybe.

Now that you say it, yeah some similarities.

I usually get too excited about the new players coming in. So far it seems we will be bigger next year. 6’6” and 230 is a lot of dude. By the numbers he had what appeared to be a solid game (12 pts and 12 boards) against SMU. Looks like a good motor and physical. Gus just became one of my 15 favorite college players.

Yeah that is a little scary (shoots a lot) only because we know IB let's guys just do whatever the hell they want lol.

My biggest hope is for good chemistry and unselfishness with the team this year. That will be the key to turning this back around.

But I am happy with this addition. Glad to have Butch Pierre on staff!

Spot on with the unselfishness and chemistry comment. That was our biggest downfall this past season. With the addition of CP and now GO I am starting to feel much better. My gut tells me GO will be a good addition.
