I heard he shoots 3's at a rate of 10 per 40 minutes and makes 1/4 of them.

Not too dissimilar to Frankamp last year, who averaged nine threes per 40 minutes of playing time and hit 31%, and we know he can shoot the rock. Of course, Semi is exactly that in terms of relative size vs. Mini-Cooper Frankamp, so in that sense it's surprising that he's been firing so many threes this season. Last year he averaged little less than one every 11 minutes in very limited action.

It was also mentioned on 810 WHB KC early this afternoon that we had made contact. It was also mentioned that Conner F and Semi were AAU teammates on KC Pump and Run. They were saying WSU would be a great landing spot for Semi. They were bragging on the atmosphere last night , that we hadn't recruited as many stars as KU, we played a high non-conference schedule, are well coached, will go to the NCAA tourney, and the only way that Semi was going to go to the NBA was to get meaningful minutes.they were very complimentary of the Shockers.

I am some what amazed at the "names" of some of the schools contacting a Duke player who was 9th in minutes, 10th is scoring, .278 FG%, .571 FT%, .250 3%, and jacking up a 3 faster than 1 per every 4 minutes. Not saying I wouldn't want him.

Kid has the state record for scoring. This state has produced some pretty damn good players.

Why the lack of minutes at Duke? Are they super stacked at the power forward position with burger boys? (serious question, I haven't looked at their roster in a long time)
