Firing a coach with no previous HC experience in D-I and hiring another in that same boat isn't going to fly.

I could be wrong, but I don't see Heiar as wanting to come back as an Assistant for IB. His relationships prior to coming to WSU were long standing and strong with Chris Jans, and Steve Forbes (going all the way back to Iowa small colleges) more so than with Brown.

Hiring Heiar as an Assistant, would be a good move, but I don't see it, unless Jans comes back.
