I think his parents are still in France so his handlers might not be as nefarious as some others. That being said, I don't think the Swedish Skyscraper has handlers and he seems to be doing just fine.

I don't know that I would read too much into that term for a foreign player. First, there may be some translation issues. Second, it makes sense that he would have advisors in the U.S. if his parents are still in France without necessarily implying a more nefarious relationship.
