Assuming he has to sit and then play two. Not a bad option at this point at all. Has good size and some experience.

I would guess he would get a waiver. This is a first time transfer, his grades are good, and he has another 7 footer in front of him so I wouldn't think his coach would try to block him from transferring. A supportive coach for a player with a first time transfer would equal immediate eligibility, I would think.
