Spot on about all the videos, wufan -- those and enough enthusiasm to light the night are mum's specialties.

According to a retweet by Suellentrop Brown committed to Evansville.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Yes, trop, it must have -- not to be snobbish (he says, snobbishly), but it's hard to believe WSU would make someone who is serious about Evansville a top priority.

it's hard to believe WSU would make someone who is serious about Indiana State a top priority (even if his name is Larry Bird). :p

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Well, Spangler, WSU and IndSt were at different points on the basketball spectrum back in those days than WSU and Evansville are now. (Plus, Brown has about a foot to grow before we start mentioning him in the same post -- much less the same sentence -- with Bird).

I know; I was just having fun. I don't recall that Indiana State was that good back in the mid '70s (but I might be wrong). I thought Bird and Knight didn't get along and ISU was just a handy second choice when Larry left Indiana.
