The Shockers have been in to see and are recruiting this 6 foot to 6-1 pg at Dickson County Hi in Tennessee. He has current offers from VCU and Georgia. Also interested are Northern Iowa, Alabama, N.C. State and Tennessee. He has good quickness and shoots the mid range shot well. He expects to commit during his senior year. Dana Ford appears to be the lead recruiter.

There are always exceptions. No area is pure redneck, but there are areas with higher concentrations and Dickson/White Bluff is one of them.

On a total tangent, one of my most memorable Christmas mornings was there. We were visiting my mother-in-law (at the time). She lived in a log home outside of White Bluff, TN (near Dickson) in the hills with nice views. We woke up and there was a gentle snow falling with huge flakes. One of those picture-perfect postcard or old country Christmas TV special scenes. But I digress. Back to Mr. Lewis . . .

Thought it was interesting that other than Georgia his other offers came from Wichita State and Northern Iowa. We played you guys in the Bracketbuster last year and will play Northern Iowa in the Bracketbuster this year. Funny coincidence.

How do the Rams look for next year?

We should be pretty strong. We return everyone but Bradford Burgess next year. He's the lone senior on our currently 22-5 squad and we're adding his brother who is a top 100 4-star recruit according to Scout and ESPN. This squad has 9 underclassmen on it right now so we're hoping that this nucleus will help us make some nice NCAA runs the next couple of seasons.
