Markel Crawford, a 6-3 pg at Melrose Hi in Memphis has received an offer from the Shockers after our coaching staff made a recent visit to his school. He is a Rivals' 3 star and they show offers also made by Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Georgetown was in the gym the same day as the Shockers.

The info was broken by his high school coach who had this to say:

Out of curiousity, I wonder how much of it is Marshall's choice. It seems like in the past he is definately not a fan of things like the dunk contest. I always wonder how much of the event is based on department ideas vs coaches choice.

Crawford has already visited Ole Miss and Memphis. He has plans to take other unofficals to Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn and Mississippi State.
