If we only have one more to give, I would hope we spend it on a high school post, 6'10" or so. Really don't see any huge need elsewhere.

If all four of the commitments sign as promised, I hope the Shocks wait until spring or even beyond. The way things change and people transfer around these days, some pretty interesting options seem to open up at the last minute. Ask Bill Self about his most experienced and accomplished center this season, for example.
I also noticed that ESPN is showing Xavier ranked #4 among 2014 recruiting classes at this point, despite a lack of the superman recruits that end up going to Kentucky, Duke, and some of the other better-known places that feature blue in their color schemes. Two of the main reasons for the high Musketeer standing? Makinde London and Sean O'Mara, a couple of familiar names around here. The day is coming for WSU, too, although there's no doubt that it helps the X-Men in Cincy to have the Big East brand working for them rather than the MVC.

Last night Marshall said the last scholarship would go to best available. In other words, he is satisfied with all positions being covered. I was a little surprised. I figured he was still looking at another pf only. He said we have three, Wamukota, Carter and Morris for posts next year. I believe he means for posts in that context as players who can play center. Carter and Morris can of course also play the 4. We would have Green, Bush, Kelly and in some cases Wessell for the 4 also. If indeed, the last scholarship could be filled by somebody not a 4, the staff must have confidence in those last four names being able to fill the 4 needs. For course, if Hamilton does commit, it would give us one more at that spot.In the fast lane

@Insider100Hoops: Dan Manzi has officially signed his LOI to UTPA. Despite a late rush from Illinois St and Witchita St, Manzi will be a Bronco! @RMFmagazine
Manzi is a 6-8 to 6-10 pf playing in Florida. He had some looks a few good programs. He recently played Willie Carmichael, another former Shocker recruit, pretty much even. Carmichael is going to Southern Mississippi. In the fast lane

"Wichita State is coming off a final four and they didn't sign any Rivals150 prospects. Make no mistake about it, though, the Shockers have a really good class. Rivals.com really likes the end of signing period addition of Eric Hamilton. The 6-foot-8 Georgian is a long and lanky athlete who cleans the glass, runs the floor and has some combo forward ability. Gregg Marshall and his staff have made a living turning guys like him into matchup problems."
Rivals ranks our recruiting class #9 among the non-power conference schools, behind San Diego State, UNLV, SMU, VCU, Connecticut, BYU, Gonzaga and Cincinnati.http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/conten...ta&CID=1578792In the fast lane
