I think it was stated on a previous Coach's Show that Coleby has more spring in his jump and is a better shot blocker than EO. I'm not sure about the shot blocking part, but I'm pretty sure it was said he was a better leaper.

I believe 3G said he's better defensively than Hall but not quite the shot blocker of Ehimen. He's better offensively than Ehimen but not as strong as Hall.

2014 Wichita native Larry Dennis at Sunrise Christian has been picking up a little more interest. Belmont, Missouri State, Houston, Nebraska and Virginia are involved according to Rivals' database.

According to NY@LASports WSU was showing some interest in Scotty Tyler before his Fall commitment to Idaho State. Tyler is a 6-7 PF from Grafton, Wisconsin.

NY2LA Sports reports an offer early in the recruiting process from WSU for 2013 Demarcus Croaker from Orlando, FL. He decommited from Murry State and appears headed to Texas.

Has anybody noticed WichitaStateMBB account on Twitter? I am very suspicious of the couple of recruiting tweets they put out.

Suspicious in what way? There's nothing official about it.....seems like kind of a John Higgins Hair type twitter account.

I don't take kindly to putting out false recruiting info which I think they probably are. Unlike JohnHigginsHair I don't see humor in their other tweets. On the other hand if indeed we offered a 2016 kid and they know it and nobody else does, they are really good.

The problem is that it says it's "The official twitter account for the Wichita State Shockers". Ummm, no, it's not. And it could cause the NCAA to come sniffing around since they can't name unsigned recruits. I think a few of us need to send that account some direct messages and convince them to change the description.

I see where you're going now...I agree as well. It's kind of the problem with immature people out there...just because you can doesn't mean you should.

It looks like our "official" tweeter removed all but one of the tweets mentioning a specific recruit, but didn't change his account to say "unofficial". Looks like an email to the compliance AD is in order.

This isn't necessarily relevent to Shocker recruiting but there is a major meltdown going on at MSU. They had a verbal from Manny Watkins (son of Arkansas assistant Melvin Watkins) and Manny left the Bears at the alter on signing day supposedly to sign with Arkansas. They had planned a party - baked a cake and everything. Pretty crappy deal IMO.
