Before recently signing with Sam Houston, Dakarai Henderson from Pearland, Texas heard from the Shockers. He is a 6-3 SG.

Keith DeWitt didn't have a great debut with USM. 1 pt and 2 rb in 15 minutes of play.

Late on picking up that Daylen Robinson of Moberly CC and a KC area native will be playing for Texas Tech next year.

Shocker staff had recent social networking with Brandon Parrish, a 6-5 SF at Seguin Hi in Arlington, Texas. The Rival's 3 star is in the class of 2013.

More info on DeWitt's progress: After the first two games, he played a total of 27 minutes, scoring 2 points off of FTs, 0-2 FG, 2 rebounds, 3 PFs, and 5 TOs.

Word is that after S. Miss loss at Denver, DeWitt was sent back to S Miss as the team headed to Co St and the Alaska Shootout. Reason, attitude problem.

He might just be unhappy at S. Miss or we may have dodged a bullet in not getting him. Time will tell.

As if you don't already provide mountains of info for SN, @tropicalshox:, I was looking through the stickies on the recruiting forum and noticed that the 2012 Recruiting Summary was in need of attention. Should it be updated, cleaned up, and/or removed as a sticky in favor of a 2013 Recruiting Summary? PS: No one in our fantastic class of 2012 is listed there. I know in the past that it was interesting to go back and review this type of summary as you had a list that showed where everybody had signed (if they did). Maybe you could poll the membership as to what they'd like to see or not see?

Thanks again for all you do, O' Great and Powerful Recruiting Guru.

Rival's ranks WSU's recruiting class as the 6th best among non BCS schools. The top five in order are Houston, Memphis, Xavier and UNLV. Cleanthony Early was named the biggest sleeper among non-BCS recruits and Fred VanVleet the best passer.

We should probably release the sticky to the 2012 summary. It's past time for 2013. I probably need to find a way to cut down on the time it takes. Suggestions are welcomed on what you would really like to see.

Southern Mississppi fans don't think he will ever play again for them. There is talk about him being a redshirt. I don't know if the couple of games he played in were exhibition on not. He is not suiting up and not practicing with the team but does show up in the stands to watch the games.

The first game is listed as their season opener eventhough it was with an NAIA team. The second game he played was at Denver was not an exhibition game for sure.

Word is he commented to the USM coaches that he could be playing for "that team with all the fans getting all the press" in Kansas after the Denver loss. The coaches suggested he take a detour on the trip back home. This won't end well, for anyone.

Wonder if this all came about by them not giving him a release (if that's what happened)?
