I won't start threads on these guys at this time but based upon social networking we might have some interest.

Keyshawn Woods, a 6-2 guard at Gaston Day in Gastonia, N.C. He averaged over 21 points as a freshman. Recently he took an unofficial to Clemson. Class of 2014.

David Baety, a 6-4 SG at Apopka, Florida. I could find interest from Chattanooga, Campbell and St. Bony. Class of 2012.

Chris Horton, a 6-8 PF from Decatur, Georgia. Offers from Chattanooga, Greensboro, Gardner-Webb and Austin Peay. Class of 2012.

The Shockers had interest in Rodrigo Silva, a 6-10 center at Laramie County CC in Wyoming. He just committed to Texas Tech. Also interested were UAB, Utah and Nebraska.

Willie Cauley, now a top 50 recruit was mentioned on Shockernet a couple of years ago. The PF from Olathe Northwest was a top priority for Kansas State for a long time. He just picked Kentucky. Shockers were never in the recruiting picuture for him.

I had a few people ask me about Willie Cauley, and I was just like "who?"

                Thanks for the post Trop.

Again based on social networking, keep a lookout for Tavario Miller, a 6-8 PF at Wheatly in Houston. Bossi noted last Spring he was a good inside scorer. This Summer he was praised for his faceup and midrange game and good defense on very good players. Currently he is ranked #21 for the 2013 class in the Houston area. He is from the Bahamas and Facebooks with Sunrise players.

You might remember Waverly Austin, a juco center who verballed to South Florida. WSU never was in it much for him and he verballed to South Florida awhile back. KU was interested, according to jucorecruiting as a backup plan to Kaleb Tarczewski. 0 for 2 now as Tarczewski goes with Arizona.

Nate Taphorn was mentioned as a potential future recruit the Illinois/Indiana thread. Still no word on futher Shocker interest but he visited Creighton over the weekend. He has offers from CU, Bradley and Drake. He is a 6-6 SF from Pekin, Illinois in the class of 2013.

I've edited Brandon Jones' thread to include an offer from South Carolina State. It's his only offer but some mid majors are looking. Brandon is from South Carolina. It's pretty doubtful the Shockers are in hot pursuit.

Roderic King has had recent social networking with Shocker staff. He is a 6-4 SF at Adairsville, GA, Class of 2013. He looked good at last summer's futures camp in Atlanta.

The Shockers are not being bashful in recruiting the Carolinas. West, Nunn, Freeman and Buford are all ballers and of course we already have a commitment from Henry who is prepping there. The Shockers are definitely in the running for West. Perhaps one will lead to another, and another...
