On facebook Greg Heiar said he is going to Casper, Wyoming tomorrow. He didn't state the purpose but of course it's the home of Casper CC. They have more than one future D-1 players on their roster, but the immediately jumping out to me was 6-9 forward Remi Dibo from France. The sopohmore is thought to be one of the best junior college big men.

There's a jamboree in Casper this weekend. Casper CC will be there with many other teams.

Are the shox recruiting Jalen Love(east),Terrence Moore(heights),Nathan Jackson(east), and Larry Drew(east) or are they going to let them get away too?

Love and Jackson's recruitments have been at a "lower level" than the Shockers. Isn't Moore a KU football commitment? Larry Dennis is a junior at East. I think the Shockers have interest but other than attending the Shocker's elite camp I don't have much info other than he probably is the best "new" name in the city.

My question is, are programs that are currently where WSU wants to be (ie. top 25) recruiting those players?

I don't want to sound harsh (and I would love to see more local players at WSU), but if those guys are Summit, Southland, MAAC, or Big West conference level players (or D2), then they should go play at that level.

I've seen some tweets from local recruiting services indicating that guys like Love and Jackson are getting interest from programs that I would consider outside the top-100. The other two I have no idea.

WSU got Evan Wessel, was hard after Perry Ellis and at one point had an offer out to Gavin Thurman. Buddy Hield and Conner Frankamp were courted, too. I'd say the coaching staff is doing a great job of targeting the local players who can help WSU.

Conner may open up if wsu does well....im thinking all the guards for 2012 and 2013 that ku is recruiting he may wanna reconsider and go with the shox, would be a great combo for us. But as far as local talent i agree at best maybe d-2 or lower mid major. Still, if you win thats what attracts recruits....Anybody see what winning the n.i.t did for us?

IMO winning the NIT did more for us than our sweet 16 appearance.

exactly,we start getting nationally ranked kids to come in then the shox will really be in business. i expect a great season for men and women's teams.but the issue will be keeping the coaches here i believe

Nazerath Long's final four are Iowa State, Rice, Dayton and Missouri. He may transfer to a D-1 school this year for the Spring semester.

Conner has always wanted to be a Jayhawk and always will. is the common thinking.

That's not always the case. Some kids just want to go to a certain school and that's enough. KJ had more issues than PT
