It ain't you.
This staff has recruits with talent lining up to come here.
Baker and Armstead paying their own way for a year (at least) has to say something. What they did with the last scholarship - and all the big guys they were in on late - was nothing short of miraculous.
There have been very few recruiting mistkes and those have been corrected quickly. Usually a team has 3 or 4 scholarship players who will seldom see a minute of playing time. Marshall has done better than that and it appears that Ford and Heiar are some unbelievable recruiters. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

I agree with everything said so far... BUT
It brings up my biggest concern: How long will they stay?
I believe Coach Jans has been offered a couple Head Coaching positions. No one in the Illinois area is going to like Coach Ford bringing that talent to Wichita, so look for Bruce Weber, Buzz Williams, or John Beilein to try to scoop him up. Would Coach Marshall make him the #1 assistant if Coach Jans takes another job?
I believe we may be setting up for a GREAT 3 year run but can we sustain it past that? I think as long as Coach Marshall is here, he will continue to bring in good coaches and players.

Would you leave when your deck is stacked to the hilt with promises of more, or when you think you may be reaching your limit at the institution you are at?
We are building, not peaking.
Good things are coming and it will show up in the NCAA tournament this year.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

Gregg has a history of being pretty careful about his moves. I don't expect he will end his career at WSU, but I do think it will take the right school and the right situation for him to leave.
There are very few schools that can be confident their coach will still be there in 3 or 4 years. Bill Self could get tired of recruiting and tired of getting beat by Valley teams in the NCAA and go to the NBA.
Sometimes an older coach is expected to stay put, but Laranagea left George Mason for what turned out to be a tough gig in Miami. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
