        Visiting Creighton this coming weekend.

9/23 update: Has a Minnesota offer. Not expected to sign with anybody until the Spring. He has transferred to a Prep in a different area of the country. I have conficting info on which prep. Doesn't appear the Shockers are involved.

It's never a bad thing to land a KC area kid and we need a PF in this class. Be it Miller or someone else, I'm watching closely at the post players in the class of '14.

Certainly not the kiss of death, but not too encouraging either.

I'm sure if this kid is gettable, our coaches will give it their all, and their all has been outstanding.

Lets remember, while they called us local, he's a KC kid. I don't think many in that area see us that way even though proximity can still be a plus. It's not like he's a Wichita area kid.

But are we really that much closer than Iowa City or Lincoln or even Columbia?

And as Sub implied, many KC kids would have problems finding Wichita on a map.

But don't get me wrong, I love everything about what I hear about this kid.

they might not be able to find columbia either considering it is closer to kc than wichita.
