hope we land him. From what I've read, he has a girlfriend back in Cali. That may not help our cause much. Being home is going to be a big selling point for those other schools. We'll see. I think we have a fair shot at him. If academics are high on his priority list, we have an advantage there. Good luck to GG whereever he decides to go.

His girlfriend goes to Wichita State. The West coast schools are close to home. This kid is about getting the best degree he can get. It’s not about basketball/facilities so much. I’d put that maybe 3rd on his list.

Believe me, the best thing for IU in this recruitment is the grad programs they offer.

In this thread I previously mentioned Anthony Norris as another, although long shot possibility. It appears he made a decision at least a day ago and probably days before that although I don't know which school it is. It may be farily safe to assume it's not WSU since we were still courting Green and possibly Harris. Who knows however as he is keeping it under wraps. I expect it's a junior college in Texas although the NJCAA has not posted a letter of intent for him.

The MEd-Sport Management program has reached capacity for 2011-12. Applications for 2012-13 are now being accepted.

Could that already prevent him from coming here or can exceptions be made?

Which, as I understand it is a recruiting violation.

A SDSU fan contacted him via facebook, and admitted it on their message board, which caused a 12-page thread to get removed as a precautionary measure.

His high school coach thinks it might come down to who Garrett thinks has the best chance of dancing. IMO that's WSU and Long Beach State.

Could of been. Per his tweets he was on his way to Wichita Wednesday morning and left on an early flight Thursday. Offical visits can last for 48 hours I believe. His probaby was a rather short one.

I don't think it means anything. It was probably planned that way so he could get back and have a day to make his decision and prepare for graduation.
