Did someone say that he played in a pick up game and spent a lot of time talking with EO and Ede? Having a native Nigerian and one of Nigerian decent (I think Ede's parents are from Nigeria) on the team could really have helped us in the recruiting of him.

I think the report notquitebwing gave was that Henry asked where EO was at, but EO was not on campus (Nigeria maybe).

Also, didn't the pickup game and ensuing BB camp include a former Nigerian player that HCGM had at Winthrop (now lives in New Jersey) who was helping at the camp?

WSU will soon be West Nigeria. This is awesome for us. Maybe it will make all the people who demand younger talent, rather than JUCO and transfer students to be a little quieter. Nothing like getting a freak of raw athletic talent, and little basketball knowledge so the coaches can mold him exactly how they want him.

Huh? What's this have to do with the JUCO thing?

I've seen posters on here say that we recruit too many Juco players and/or transfers. And picking up Henry as a 4 year player should quiet those comments a bit.

I'm one of those guys. I'm not sure how getting a commitment from one four year player will quite those comments. Hopefully we get at least 2 more 4 year guys for '12.

I feel comfortable the info has a very high chance of being correct. However, with early commitments you never can tell. Things can change.

I don't doubt the info, but we'd all feel more comfortable if we heard from Sully or someone else in the media. His coach or someone out there would do.
