A Northwestern blogger says Walker's final three are Kansas, Xavier and Northwestern. He could of just missed or ignored the second twit that added WSU.

Word has come out that Northwestern is in the final three schools being considered by Vanderbilt grad Andre Walker who will have one season ...

It's all over the net. Of course Daniels has verballed to many schools in the past. He's to sign an agreement in a few days with UConn. With him, it could be safer to wait until the ink is dry.

Increasing KU's need is my own thought.

Kansas and closer to home Northwestern could be tough to beat out. I'm fairly certain our staff has also been in recent contact with a couple of other possibilities.

Wlaker to visit KU shortly as per the Eagle.....I don't see why he would want to go to KU and get minimal playing time his last year. He has a chance to be a much more important part of our team. I think he would see alot of playing time as a Shocker.

KU did lose it's whole frontline basically. There is PT to be earned there.

              This from ESPN "Insiders" Rumors:
After losing out on three of their prime recruiting targets in 2011 -- small forward DeAndre Daniels, shooting guard Trevor Lacey and junior college center Stan Simpson -- Kansas still has room available to add another player or two for next season. And according to J. Brady McCollough of The Kansas City Star, Bill Self is still trying to do just that.

According to McCollough, one potential candidate to join the Jayhawks as a late addition is former Vanderbilt forward Andre Walker, who has logged over 1500 minutes in his college career and is seeking to transfer to another school for his fifth and final season of eligibility. The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Walker plans to visit Kansas, McCollough writes, and is also considering Northwestern, Xavier and Wichita State.

KU is very thin up front next season, which could end up being its Achilles' heel. So to say that the addition of an experienced player with Walker's size would be welcomed would be a giant understatement. Other than junior-to-be Thomas Robinson, the Jayhawks figure to be heavily reliant on incoming freshmen Braeden Anderson and Jamari Traylor at the power forward position next season. While both are promising talents, neither are necessarily projected to be instant impact types as first-year players in the Big 12.

Smith says that KU expressed interest in the 6-foot-7, 220-pound Walker, who plans to take an official visit to Kansas and is also considering Northwestern, Xavier and Wichita State.

Don't know where this idea comes from.

"W" is after "Q" and before "ERTY".

I see it all over the office that way.
