He can weave his way to the rim and has the dexterity to finish in a variety of ways. While in the paint area he has the vision to drop off some terrific passes to open teammates. If his drive gets cut off he has the ability to separate off the dribble and pull up for the 20-footer. His release is extremely quick and his shot is prolific.
Nice to see the new staff getting in on Houston kids after having Coach Gross move on.

Where do you see were recruiting him?
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

Gray previously verballed to Mississippi State but over the weekend he decommitted and restarted his recruitment process. He is a Rival's three star point guard and will receive plenty of new attention.

10/18 update: New interest from Penn State, Seton Hall, Nebraska and Georgia Tech.

Gray visits Seton Hall this week and a decision might come shortly after between Houston and Seton Hall.

Gray didn't sign. His high school coach doesn't know what's going on.

Let's see now. That's a "yes" "no" "yes" "maybe" "yes" and "no". Yikes.

True but just about everybody is now saying "no" to MSU.
