    WVU transfer Dan Jennings considering WSU

    Per Big East Basketball Insider Adam Zagoria....

    Former West Virginia forward Danny Jennings is considering transferring to Long Beach State, UCF, Wichita State or Towson.

    Jennings is the 6-8, 260 lb. PF who rose from the bench in the second half of a game and walked off the team.

    He averaged 2.1 points per game at WVU in limited action. Coming out of Oak Hill Academy he was a Scout 3-star noted for his high-energy play.

    Also: Did you notice that he's 6-8? The magic height mentioned in the Ron Baker interview?

    Sounds like he might have a questionable attitude...not sure we need that.

      Talk about Long Beach State having a good chance to get Jennings has been ongoing for awhile.

        I still think the 6-8 guy was Goff, and then we expected Dewitt. I believe Long Beach State is probably involved with Jennings longer than us and we probably only recently gotten very interested. Looks like we are the best program wanting him if he wants to win. NBA was his goal when he prepped.

        I'll forgive him for walking out on Huggy. Jennings looks like a "high major" but undersized very tough center that can attack the rim. If he develops a mid range jumper, watch out.

          Yeah, who knows. But no matter -- they'll get somebody in here for that last scholly who can ball, whether he's 6-8 or 5-6. ;)
