  • LaKieth Kimbrough -- 2011 wing

Per a tweet, the Shockers have been in recent contact with a LaKieth "LJ" Kimbrough, a 6-4 wing from Westwind Prep in Phoenix, Ariz.

Kimbrough signed with NOC-Enid earlier this month. The NOC-Enid release says he averaged nearly 33 points a game and was All-State Top 20, although it's not clear if that was in high school or in prep school. Kimbrough is originally from West Valley H.S. in San Jacinto, Calif.

He also mentioned contact from the Winthrop coaching staff.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

The entire Northern Oklahoma- Enid (juco) team, including Kimbrough visited WSU yesterday afternoon.

By my mistake we have two threads on Kimbrough. He obviously is not part of the 2011 class. Either 2012, or more than likely 2013.
