To get Uchebo we would probably have to out bid Kentucky.
Actually, Uchebo could play a role in who we end up with. The Wake Forest board considered Thomas de Thaey a fallback if they didn't get Katenda.

Suddenly they're a finalist for Uchebo after his decommit and de Thaey is again on their fallback list. If Uchebo were to pick Wake, that might send Thomas our way.

      Sure.

The Uchebo stuff is in a different thread on this board somewhere.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

I don't know much about Watson, but I don't see what good a JUCO PF would bring at this point.

I was just throwing a name out. I'm sure he visited. IF we are on him, he would add depth for the next two years and be a back up plan if CH has any lingering health issues.

This link is a little dated, 4/19, but I find it interesting which schools were watching him workout. We aren't on the list but GM is, among others. His horizon for a new school appears to be broad.

                  How about Montell Jordan?

All they said was 6'8" he stood
And people thought the music that he made was good

Katenda ranked 118th in the final list.

                    Did we even recruit him?

Doesn't appear that Baylor was ever in on him.

Some coaches sit on the bank with the bobber in the water waiting for a fish to come along and bite. Our coaches are on the nose of their bass boats beating that water with their line making sure of taking every opportunity to land a big one and fill their limit. From now on I'm referring to Gregg as Kevin Van Dam and Chris as Hank Parker Jr. :D
