  • Dwight Mielke -- PF 2011

WSU was one of several schools in on this 6-9, 185 PF who is described as a "lengthy and athletic wing player who can play stingy defense and run the floor."

He signed with St. John's in Nov. -- but earlier this week backed out of his commitment. The article from Jan. below lists "Charlotte, Wichita State, and Seton Hall, among others."

Don't know if we would reestablish contact at this late date, but dude's gotta end up somewhere.

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. To replace Mielke: "St. John’s is still in pursuit of a few remaining unsigned prospects, including highly-touted forward God’s Gift Achiuwa of Erie Community College (PA), who is taking an official visit to St. John’s this Easter weekend."

If St John's gets this recruit, you could see both him, God's Gift Achiuwa, and Sir'Dominic Pointer on the court at the same time.

I'm sure I saw somewhere this afternoon that Miekle already picked another school. Can't remember who it was or re-find the article.
