  • Recruit visit April 21 (2011)

Two recruits in town today. A friend supplied me with this info.

Kid named Gabriel. From Sunrise. Played really well had alot of skill.

The next kid was about 6'4". A SF from New York I believe. His name was Eddy/Eddie if I remember correctly.

I'm sure someone knows these names better than I so I'll let Trop educate us :)

This was the first person I thought of when you mentioned a 6'4" kid from NY.

I think "Gabe" at Sunrise has the last name of Olakwanki or something. 6-8 or 6-9 kid.

Sunrise guy would be Gabe Olaseni. See his thread. He's getting to be a big time recruit. He also attended one of our games.

I've never seen Brandon called Eddy but don’t know off the top who else it could be. Of course Landry is really Guy Landry Edi but I trust he is being truthful about being at Gonzaga and didn't sneak back into Wichita.

The kid that I think was called Eddie was a high school senior. Playing SF.

The player I spoke to knows the difference between Guy Landry and this new kid so theres no mix up there.

He doesn't sound too bad. Something that 3G and the staff could work with.

                        From Smoove Ed's site

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

His ESPN profile was done in 2008 and at the time was a 2010 recruit. I assume he must have ended up at a prep school. Sounds promising if he has or can overcome the mental side.
