Offers from Nebraska, Houston and Rice. Interest from the Shockers, Texas, Oklahoma, Maryland, Baylor and South Carolina.
ESPN on Motley at last weekend's Super 16 Extravaganza in Houston:
"The long and athletic forward has a great motor. He runs the floor and finishes above the rim every opportunity he gets. Motley does a good job of keeping the ball high on offense and his hands up on defense. He is a good two-dribble, straight-line driver who does a good job passing in the post areas, especially in high-low situations. Motley is raw but more skilled than he appears. He must develop his back-to-the-basket moves and add strength, but he has great upside. Motley said he has offers from Houston, Rice and Nebraska and interest from Texas, Oklahoma, Marquette, Baylor, South Carolina and Wichita State."
RCAsports has Motley ranked #8 in the Houston area for the class of 2013.
Greg Heiar was in Texas over the weekend and since the Extravaganza was the place to be, I'm sure he was there. In the fast lane

RCAsports' take on Motley at the Extravaganza:
Johnathon Motley (North Shore 2013)- Led the event with 22.25ppg highlighted by his 30pt effort against the long frontline of Yates HS. If anyone told you that Motley put on a clinic, they were telling da truth and nothing but… He had an arsenal of weapons on display. On defense he was actively blocking or altering pretty much everything within his reach.
Edit- Today is the last day for home visits as the contact period ends at midnight. The only home visit we knew about was with Perry Ellis. I'm sure there were more. I can't remember having advance knowlege of other home visits in the Marshall era. The evaluation period begins tomorrow. Staff can still go to player's practices and games at their schools, so I expect we will continue to obtain some info on potential 2013+ recruits. In the fast lane

Baylor and Houston stand out to Motley. It doesn't appear he is considering the Shockers as they aren't mentioned in the considering list of Texas, Clemson, Oregon, Oklahoma and Kansas. All of those have offered except Kansas.
