  • Aaron Durley Class of 2012

We've talked about JT's first cousin before and somewhere there is a thread. But finally, we can call him a recruit for WSU. If you need your memory refreshed he was the 13 year old 6-8, 245 pounder in the Little League World series a few years ago. Living in Houston, he is now a 6-10 center.

WSU, K-State, Texas A&M, Arizona, Tulsa, Rice and Oklahoma are among the interested.

If he was in the class of 1202, we are a bit late. Sorry, couldn't resist.

JT loves it at WSU. If he is worth it, he is a lock. Gavin, please reconsider.

Having JT as a mouth piece for us definitely can't hurt our chances with this one.

This is another one I'll be keeping my eye on. We're gonna miss JT; having another Durley will be refreshing. This kid is obviously an athlete if he's a superstar in two sports. I don't know whether he was a pitcher or a slugger, but you have to be strong to play baseball at that level. I'd love to see him in Shockerland!

Certainly fair to say the family tradition of not missing any meals continues.

              Love you JT!

I don't think any of us know if he was actually a very good baseball player.

We don't even really know how good of a basketball player he is. Kids his size will garner a lot of attention.

That said, if he's worth the attention he's getting now I hope JT gives him a few nudges.

I watched him in the world series and he was a good ball player. Played first base and batted clean up. For his size then it was hard to beleive how athletic he was. I am sure he is a pretty darn good basketball player just from his athleticism and size.

I don't think he played this year due to Texas' transfer rule.

He's TexasHoops' 19 ranked player for 2012. It's been awhile since I read about him on the court, but he has always sounded like a great get for WSU.

Ok, the word is that Aaron will be at WSU. this could change but someone ran into JT's uncle (Aaron's father) in New York and he said that Aaron will be a shocker. Great news. Hopefully he sticks with it.
