PBS Kansas Channel 8 is the public television station serving Wichita, Hutchinson and south central Kansas. In addition to offering PBS programming, PBS Kansas also produces local public affairs programs and documentaries.
KPTS is producing a documentary on the 1970 plane crash of the Wichita State University football team in the Colorado Rockies. The premiere broadcast of this documentary is scheduled for Oct. 8 at 8 p.m.
