WSU attempts to defend but the team just doesn't seem to have the same depth and aren't on the same roll they have been in recent seasons.

Illinois State is the heavy favorite with the Shocks picked second.

This also carries some importance for the All Sports trophy, which is sure to come down to ISU and WSU once again. By my count, we hold a razor thin lead at the moment. With advantages in both Track events, and a thumping in softball, staying ahead of the Redbirds here and in baseball will probably decide if ISU gets to repeat or we return the trophy to its rightful resting spot.

      Exactly 1 team broke 300 during today's 2 rounds.

      WSU did it twice.

They lead by 13 going into the final round tomorrow.

Final round scores are starting to trickle in .......not exactly a hot start for the Shocks but it's not problematic just yet.

Still up by 11 and it would appear to be a battle between Shocker Juniors Dustin Garza and Connor McHenry for medalist.

McHenry closes to within 1 stroke of Garza by going -1 through three holes. No results in for Garza yet. GolfStats seems to be about an hour behind.

Approaching the turn, the Shocks still hold a 10 shot lead.

Connor McHenry leads Dustin Garza for medalist by 1.

The lead is still 9 but we kind of have an issue with our #4 who has blown up a bit...now we are relying on Ty Sanders who is not playing well to post a decent number or we're going to be saddled with at least 1 bad score.

Dustin and Connor are tied atop the leaderboard now.

Shocks now up 18 on the Redbirds.

Garza retakes the lead, up 1 on McHenry.

Remind me to have a discussion sometime about percieved slights in predictions for our teams.

Ty Sanders is about to post a solid score which will, for all intent and purposes, end the discussion for first place.

WSU leads by 16. Garza has his lead back for the time being.

Garza and McHenry have a huge lead on the field (8 and 7 strokes respectively), with 2 Ill. St. players tied for 3rd.

Most of the field is done with WSU leading by 14 strokes.

                              GO SHOCKERS!!!!!!
