What are their chances? I don't know much about how this works with them but do know they're a quality team.

    Best of luck to 'em.

Sub, this article in today's Eagle will probably help put the regional into perspective.

And FEI (for everyone's information), WSU doesn't start teeing off until 12:35 (not sure if that is EDT or CDT).

Sounds like it could be a rough weekend.

The Shocks were looking pretty decent, sitting in 6th at one time, but hit a tough stretch of holes.

Case in point, Tyler Sanders was +3 going to hole 3 (he started on the back 9). The next three holes went bogey, quadruple-bogey, triple-bogey. And just like that he's +11.

The team is now in 15th at +16.

They just need to tough it out for the last 3-5 holes. They have the advantage of going out early tomorrow. Only 2 shots back of a tie for 10th right now. A lot of golf to be played.

The guys had a pretty good start today, climbing as high as T-9th. They promptly carded two double-bogeys and have dropped to T-17th. But still plenty of holes to play. Plus there are six teams ahead of them who haven't started yet today. Those teams will also fall back.

We definitely have the hardest regional. Look at the East Regional were Georgia is 32 under par. The leaders there are 9 under. We are playing at a difficult course.

They finished their portion of the day in 24th, 10 strokes back from 10th place. They can be in no better than 11th place going into the final round. Some of the teams that just started are going to have to do pretty bad for the Shocks to be in a good position tomorrow.

Look for them to be about 17th or 18th heading into tomorrow. They didn't do themselves any favors today. They will have to post a very low number tomorrow to make the top 10. A side note, Dustin Garza and Ryan Spears are only 2-3 shots back of advancing individually. Hopefully they both play well tomorrow.

I was hoping most, if not all, of the afternoon teams would fall back. But Illinois, E. Mich, and E. Kentucky are having great 2nd rounds so far. And to a slightly lesser extent, so is Ohio State and TCU.
