ShockerNetters,
Let's pull together and help Shocker Track and Field! The Shocker Track Club is looking for volunteers to help with the KT Woodman Track Meet on April 13 through the 16th.
Wichita State Track and Field has teamed up with Shocker Track Club to
assist in facilitating one of the State's largest track meets, and you
could also be part of it all! This is open to anyone but if you are
majoring in education, sports, or plan on working with children or
athletes, then you want this on your resume!
Volunteers are needed for the KT Woodman Track Meet, April 13-16. We aren't
asking for an extraordinary amount of time. We are looking for people to
work a block of time, a few hours, or a particular event. Volunteers will
receive a t-shirt, food, and gain firsthand experience assisting in running
off a track meet. This is a great networking environment, especially if you
are looking into coaching, training, or officiating.
We are also looking for motivated students to join The CREW! This is a
student volunteer based group specifically used to assist with WSU/STC
Track meets. This is a great resume builder as you will be able to hold an
active position on a committee, have your voice heard, and be able to have
hands on experience in track meet management, volunteers, officials,
hospitality, event teams, and so much more.
If you are interested in any of the above, please contact Laura Markuly at
futurist@shockerT:rackclub.com by April 8th.
