Doc, the Valley's web site now shows that Illinois State and the Shocks tied with 78 points with ILS awarded 2nd place based on a tiebreaker. No sure what the tiebreaker was. Perhaps best individual finish. I don't really know.

Edit: In looking at the final stats my guess is that the tiebreaker is probably the cumulative time of the 5 scoring runners. Illinois State's cumulative time was 2:03:07.08 and the Shocks cumulative time was 2:03:14.98.

Unlike the Bradley women who had a Senior laden team this year, the Bradley men and 2 Juniors and 3 Sophs in their top 5 and 2 more juniors in their top 8. They will no doubt be the Valley favorite again next year.

The Shockers also only had 1 senior among their top 8 runners that being Paul Raymond who finished 19th this year and contributed to the Shocker scoring.

Good effort today by the Shocker XC men. Ranked 14th in the region but finished 10th.

LAWRENCE, Kan.  --  Wichita State's women's and men's cross country teams were eighth and 10th, respectively, at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships this afternoon at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence.
