That may have been the worst shot of the tournament by the Shocker lefty. Missed the pocket by foot.

Never mind his teammate bailed him out of that honor with a 1st ball gutter ball in the 8th frame. Ugh!

The Shocks really sucked in Game 3 losing 191 - 154. Not handling the pressure well at all but they are still in it only down 1-2 but they better find some focus and mental toughness right now.

I would have to say luck may play a bigger role in bowling than just about any other sport after Urbana gets a strike on a ball pretty much straight on the head pin.

Shocks had a double-digit lead in Game 4 but they have pretty much tossed that away with some poor efforts. Another game that will be settled in the 10th frame now.

Urbana returned the favor to the Shocks with open frames in the 8th and 9th and the Shocks hold for a 189-180 win to even the match at 2-2.

Both teams letting the pressure get to them on here and there in their lineups.

That was a rough shot (roll?) by that Urbana guy.

That redheaded lefty in the eyeglasses has hurt the Shocks as they dig deep hole early in a game. Shocks down 21 pins after 2 frames. Do they have another comeback in the tank.

Urbana with 4 consecutive 9-count spares but the Shocks respond with 4 consecutive X's to get back into the game after 6 frames.

The Shocks finish off the comeback getting a huge break in the 9th barely avoiding a 7-9 split and then finishing off a well-played 232-218 game and taking a 3-2 lead. The pressure now resides on the shoulders of Urbana as they face elimination in Game 6. Sometimes that works in your favor, sometimes it doesn't.

The Shocks again start our poorly and are down 22 pins after 2 frames. Not exactly how you would draw it up but the Shocks certainly have shown the ability to come back.

Wow, the Shocks get right back in the game then our anchor throws a 7-10 split in the 5th. Then we follow that up with another goal post.

Somehow the Shocks have gotten back in it and it's going to come down to the 10th frame again. Our anchor has not been as good on Lane 23 as he has on Lane 24 though.

Shocks open the 10th with a spare. Urbana opens with a strike. Urbana wins 181-173 in Game 6. Heading to game 7 with the season and a trip to the Championship match on the line.

There's that bowling luck coming into play again.

Our anchor guy definitely looks more comfortable on Lane 24 which might come into play if this comes down to the 10th frame again.

Looks like it's going to come down to the anchor bowlers in the 10th frame again.

The Shocks open the 10th with a spare the door is open for Urbana.

Urbana takes advantage with a strike. Urbana strikes again and only need 7 pins on the last roll to win. They get all 10.

                Urbana 198 - Shocker 194.

Maybe not the best bowling I have ever seen, but that Baker format does make for some interesting swings during games and was pretty dang entertaining.

Hell of an effort by the Shocks after losing their 1st match of the tournament. There was very little to chose between these two teams but when you strike out in the final frame of the 7th game to win then you probably deserve to win.
