A big 1,500 meters for Indiana State as they finished 1st and 7th for 12 points and the Shocks were shut out as Fr. Ugis Jocis finished 10th. Now that one really does sting as that is about 6 points more in favor of Indiana State than was expected.

400M, a huge race for WSU with a 2-1 final advantage over ISU is about to start.

More good news as D.J. Lindsey finishes a surprising 2nd and Mike Flores 6th and the ISU runner only 5th. 11-4 points against an expected 4-4 I think.

DJ 2nd and Mike 6th right? That's a terrific outcome for the Shocks if that's correct.

We needed this one to help offset the damage we sustained in the 400M Hurdles.

The pole vault will be another big event to watch. With both Indiana State and the Shocks capable of scoring around 14 points. Would be nice if the Shocks can at least hold serve in that event.

It's so close right now....Shocks are a tad behind....100 about to start and ISU has 2 entrants and WSU none. Don't want to see either of the ISU runners across the line early.

5 one hundreths separated 4-5-6-7-8 and ISU gets A HUGE result finishing 4-5 for 9 big points. That probably moves their projection back ahead of WSU.

Doc, do you know why Hunter Veith was unable to compete this weekend?

Shocks really need Kelvin Businei to come through in the 800M run.

I believe this 800 is going to decide the meet. WSU has the favorite, but Kelvin Busienei is by himself against 2 ISU runners who are going to do everything to beat him, at any cost. He's going to have to run a perfect tactical race. Good luck Kelvin!!!!!

Thought Kelvin had it but looks like two Loyola runners nipped him at the tape. Not sure where the INS runners finished.

Disaster! As expected, the field ganged up on Kelvin. He was nearly tripped early by one ISU runner. LU ran the real tactics and another Rambler blew by at the end, followed by ISU then Kelvin. 10-4 type point advantage for WSU turns into a 10-6 ISU win. a 10 point turnaround that will likely decide the meet in ISU's favor.

400H could have been worse. WSU gets 6th and ISU gets 2-3-4-7 a 21-3 advantage and ISU leads by 1 if my math is correct with 6 events left to be scored.

Was it my imagination or did Jonathan just clip a hurdle just entering the final straight away which perhaps threw him off stride just enough to ruin his run.

That's what I saw as well.

We need some really good field results and ANY hope rests on this next race. WSU needs both runners to finish ahead of both ISU runners right now.

6 scoring events left and WSU trails by 1.5

If the 800 didn't do it, the 200 did. Indiana State goes 4-7 and WSU 6-8 a 7-4 advantage. WSU HAD to pick up points there but lost 3 and trail by 4.5 with 5 events left. Shoot.
