I'm kind of surprised that Flint Hills National isn't a contender for these kinds of events. Is this course not a in this category?

Flint Hills is a great course, however it's not in the same league as Prairie Dunes.

Flint Hills is a great course, however it's not in the same league as Prairie Dunes.

Also, a course has to have a desire to host a tournament. I know many private golf clubs who do not want the damage that the traffic and tournament play does to a course nor the inconvenience to its members. Not sure what Flint Hills stance on this is.
