This is my namesake , Tom Hanson , still looking good in his '47 letter sweater ..........
Uncle Tom played that year along side Shocker legend Al Littleton . After a year at college , he decided he was better at golf than he was at academics , and he went off into the world to earn a living. It proved to be a wise career move , and he ended up being a long time pro at a country club in Little Rock. He's 83 now , and has been retired for several years , but doing well , and still gets out on the course.
I think he uses a cart now..........
