After the 1st sets are completed the Shockers are up 1-0 in 3 matches and down 0-1 in 3 matches. Upset watch is still in play.

After completion of the 2nd sets the match is tied at 2-2. The Shockers won the #2 singles 6-3, 6-3 but Tulane won the #3 singles 6-0, 6-3 and the #6 singles 6-3, 6.3. Shocker Alejandro Jacome won a 2nd set tiebreaker 7-5 to force a 3rd set in his #4 singles match.. So with 3 singles matches tied at 1-1 the teams are heading into a 3rd set with each team needing to win 2 of the 3sets to secure a match victory. This has turned into quite the battle.

Alex loses at #5 singles 6-2, 1-6, 4-6. Alejandra Jacome drops the hammer to win the #4 singles 3-6, 7-6, 6-0.

The match comes down to the #1 singles with Tulane up 6-5. Kristof Minarik serving to try to get this to a tiebreaker.

There is a pause in play or the Live Stats have locked up or quit working.

Oh crap, according to Shocker twitter we are in a rain delay. Kriston is serving down 15-30 and trailing in the 3rd and match deciding set 5-6.

Serving at 4-4 in the 3rd, Alex was up 40-15. He lost the next point (long tough rally) then missed his 1st serve at 40-30.

He then tried a "quick serve" underhanded and double faulted. UFB

Then they play a deciding point....he did it AGAIN and was punished with a strong return down the line that decided the point and the game. He lost the next game and the match.

Now it's down to the #1 singles. On serve (many breaks so far) at 5-6 we're serving and it's 15-30 so the match hangs in the balance on the next 2 or 3 points. BUT it's a weather delay, so Kristof will come out cold and have to get a serve in and win that point....down 15-40 he'll be all but buried.

Squeegees and driers out on the courts now. Gotta think play will resume with in 30-45 minutes.
