The young Shocker Men's golf team (3 Sophs and 2 Frosh) didn't let the favorite's role bother them as they win the 2011 MVC Golf Championship by 15 strokes.

A quick update on the Shocker programs so far this year.
15 sports, 6 left (outdoor T&F, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis).
Women's Cross Country, Women's Indoor Track, Men's Golf all champions.
Men's basketball, women's golf & volleyball, 2nd.
Men's indoor track 3rd.
Women's basketball, 5th.
Men's cross country, 7th.
Baseball who knows? Softball 7th or worse. Women's track and tennis will be big favorites to win. Men's track will be right there again. Men's tennis probably a 2.
At least 5 championships and perhaps as many as 7 is very possible. A real decent chance that 11 of the 15 programs will be 1st or 2nd. That's pretty solid.Comment
