I think he did grow up in Carbondale but chose Illinois over SIU. Regardless, he is usually very complimentary of the Valley. He is a good choice for this game.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

      thanks!
Never mind, I can see that it is listed as being in HD here: http://sports.espn.go.com/espntv/espnGuide
The Cox guide doesn't show it as being in HD. When it's in HD, the Cox guide will say HDTV. It doesn't say that. It only said,

      College Basketball
      1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
      Bradley at Wichita State.

Compare that to the game on channel 2012 at noon where it says,

      College Basketball
      12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
      HDTV Minnesota at Purdue.

Of course, it's always possible that the Guide wasn't updated.

Well, if you look at that link I posted, the ESPN site definitely says HD in the game description.

Not sure an HD camera has ever found its way to doo-dah. "Today's game brought to you in LD (Low Def) Blur-O-Vision."
            SFL is back!

I remember that story now about how he lived by the Beggs home in Ill.

Koch Arena looks great in HD. It looks even bigger than it really is.

How come there were some empty seats? 8) :posterwsu:

People had other things to do at 1pm this afternoon?

Yeah, the empty seats looked bad on TV. It's too bad those people who didn't show didn't give their tickets to someone else.

A full house would have looked better. It was an official sell out though.
